Dylan Palmer is a sculptor and furniture maker who merges traditional woodworking with cutting-edge digital fabrication. As a CNC operator by trade with a degree in architecture and design, he pushes the boundaries of craftsmanship by integrating 3D modeling and virtual reality into his creative process. Working from his Green Shed, a compact backyard workshop, he utilizes digital tools to maximize efficiency within a limited space.
By sculpting in virtual reality, rapidly explored organic forms are then translated into CNC routed sculptures, bowls, and furniture. His work embodies a dialogue between the handmade and the machine-made, embracing both the warmth of wood and the precision of technology. Through this fusion of old and new, he crafts pieces that challenge conventional woodworking while remaining deeply rooted in material integrity and functional design.

A little piece of our favorite places, Fever Dream is a curious space of creativity, intentionality and community. Operating as a community-driven, creative pop-up space, Fever Dream invites you to slow down and reimagine how you see the world around you. We welcomed a space for our creative selves to recharge, a familiar place where we could learn to share all the lovely things we’ve found along our way with anyone that entered our doorway.
In 2019 I started Ambient Ritual, my first studio and gallery space on the edge of Wedgewood Houston, but after its opening in February 2020 ... the plans suddenly dissolved. What followed were four years of grieving, artistically-centered therapy and so much dreaming – dreaming of what I wanted to pursue with all of my being. When I received my keys to this space in May 2024, it was all a fever dream. What slowly emerged was an unmistakable feeling within these four walls – a meetup spot like a BMX shop, a celebration place like a gallery, a mindful place like a yoga studio – a place where anyone could be their authentic self and was given permission to go deeper.
Fever Dream is a gift to all, with the condition that it must be given away – you must share and share and share what you find in the beautiful depths. We appreciate your participation in this experiment and interest in the joy of creativity.
